In a developing Vallejo homicide case, authorities have apprehended two juveniles in connection with a fatal shooting that resulted in the death of a male victim in early January.
The Vallejo Fire Department, responding to an emergency call, found the deceased man in the 700 block of Ohio St., suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Despite initial attempts to revive him, the man succumbed to his injuries, prompting investigators to delve into the circumstances surrounding his tragic death.
The investigation, led by the Vallejo Police Department’s Detective Division, honed in on two minors as potential suspects. After diligent investigative work, arrest warrants were issued, confirmed by the Solano County District Attorney’s Office.
In a strategic operation, Vallejo’s Emergency Service Unit apprehended the first suspect on January 4 without incident on Sereno Drive.
The second suspect remained at large until January 29, when the Fairfield Police Department successfully made the arrest in Fairfield, CA.
